The Muziekgebouw is about 10 minutes walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station. Support

Become Friend, Donor or Founder!

Besides the involvement of the string quartets, our partners and organisational team, we rely on the support of all those who share our love for the genre; your support plays a crucial role in making the String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam a great success. It also encourages us in the knowledge that we do not stand alone in our passion for the string quartet.

Starting from €100 per year you can become a Friend of the SQBA and enjoy a special status /position in the months leading up to and during the festival.

Would you like to take on a more significant role for the SQBA? Besides becoming a Friend there is also the possibility of becoming a Founder or Donor. If you are interested please contact Jaap Hülsmann +31 (0)6 54 63 36 87 / j.hulsmann@sqba.nl – we would be delighted to make a personal appointment with you.

It is also possible to sign up as a volunteer and thus offer hands-on assistance in organising the festival! You can sign up as a volunteer by sending an email to Maaiken Heslenfeld / m.heslenfeld@sqba.nl – we will let you know when we are in need of extra hands on deck.

Founder

Founders; a select group of string quartet devotees; our fellow founders.

For those who wish to join with us, the string quartets and partners in realising the world’s very first large-scale string quartet festival. Becoming a Founder of the String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam involves a minimum donation of €10,000.

The Founders will be regularly invited to attend special (house) concerts at unique locations. In this context the String Quartet Biennale will give special presentations and festival previews exclusively for the Founders.

We can imagine that you wish to support us in a manner that is appropriate to you. We look forward to devising a suitable plan in consultation with you.

Jaap Hülsmann +31 (0)6 54 63 36 87 / j.hulsmann@sqba.nl

Donor

The world’s very first large-scale string quartet festival is in need of a solid donors’ base of fellow string quartet devotees.

Those wishing to become a donor donate a minimum of €5,000 as a one-off payment or, if so desired, spread over a period of several years.

The Dutch tax office shares the financial burden. The String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam is a cultural ANBI (Public Benefit Organisation), so your donation is 125% tax deductible for income tax purposes. If you make your donation by means of a periodic deed of gift for a minimum of 5 years, an annual donation of €1,000 is also tax deductible.

Your contribution is worth €1,000 to us, however in many cases the net cost to the donor may be just €350. We will be happy to arrange for a deed of gift for this purpose.

We will regularly invite donors to attend special, exclusive events in the lead-up to and during the Biennale.

We can imagine that you wish to support us in a manner that is appropriate to you. We look forward to devising a suitable plan in consultation with you.
